Building customer satisfaction one meal at a time.   Colby Jack Cafe and Bakery is Atascadero's premier dining destination. Two hospitality enthusiasts, Jack and Natalie Dorris, have created a warm and inviting restaurant with European inspired pastries, hand- made breads, locally roasted Joebella Coffee, and a classic yet contemporary food menu. 

Colby Jack Cafe's menu features high quality ingredients from locally sourced produce to Certified Angus Beef , Imported Italian Hams to a selection of specialty cheese. The lunch menu includes sandwiches served on Jack's freshly baked croissants, ciabatta or French roll, including items such as a Bleu Burger, a Grilled Portobello Sandwich, a Club, a Vegetarian Mediterranean Feta, to a Roast Beef with Smoked Cheddar. The beautiful entree salads include a Nicoise with seared Ahi, a Cobb on fresh spinach, to a Caesar with house made dressing and croissant croutons. 

Now open in the historic Carlton Hotel in downtown Atascadero, Colby Jack's serves a special Brunch Buffet every Sunday from 9AM - 2PM.  This wonderful brunch buffet features our famous Breakfast Quiche, Bacon, Sausage, Eggs, Baked Praline French Toast, Pastries, Sandwiches, Salads and more. Breakfast includes Coffee, Juice and Milk.

We have two banquet rooms and the main dining room to choose from as well as the lounge.
